A PLACE FOR EACH PURPOSEFIND YOUR STARTING POINT

01 / THE ROLE, CLEARLY DEFINED

One address label.
Several different jobs.

An operating location, registered office and mailing address are not interchangeable. An address service must fit the intended use and the receiving party’s requirements. Available locations, mail features and eligibility are confirmed through a scope review; no bank or government acceptance is assumed.

USPS: recipient services and commercial mail receiving agencies

Voda’s company setup services are separate from its high-risk merchant account placement for hard-to-place and non-traditional businesses. Formation, banking and processing reviews have their own requirements.

A PLACE FOR EACH PURPOSESkip the story
  1. ACT 01 / PURPOSE

    Begin with the use.

Ask what the address needs to do: receive mail, appear on an entity record or evidence where the business operates.

  2. ACT 02 / ROLES

    Give each role a place.

A registered office, mailing service and operating location have different requirements. Define the role before selecting an option.

  3. ACT 03 / REVIEW

    Check the fit.

Review the permitted use, identity checks, service terms and the recipient’s policy. A street-format address alone does not settle eligibility.

  4. ACT 04 / RECORDS

    Keep the record aligned.

Use accepted details consistently and update the relevant records when arrangements change. Confirm how mail and notices will be handled.

THE ADDRESS ROLE EXPLORER

Start with the role.
Then review the address.

This guide explains the distinctions. It does not offer a specific address or certify suitability.

01 / CORRESPONDENCE

Where mail goes

Review the recipient authorization and any forwarding, collection or scanning arrangements. Features and fees need explicit confirmation.

02 / SERVICE OF PROCESS

Where an agent receives

The office must meet applicable state requirements. It is part of the registered agent arrangement, not automatically a general mailbox.

03 / BUSINESS ACTIVITY

Where work happens

A bank or other institution may ask for evidence of the actual operating location. Do not relabel a mail service to satisfy a different requirement.

Mailing address: confirm receipt authorization, handling options, charges and what mail the service accepts.

PREPARE FOR THE CONVERSATION

Confirm the arrangement before using it.

01

Intended uses

List the filings, mail, banking or other records for which you want to use an address.

02

Recipient requirements

Check with the authority or institution that will receive the address details.

03

Service terms

Confirm location availability, identity verification, mail handling, charges and termination arrangements.

THE QUESTIONS BEHIND THE NEXT STEP

A clearer role.
A better conversation.

Confirm scope, responsibility and any separate third-party requirements before beginning.

Do you have a list of available addresses?

Address availability and features need confirmation for your intended use. Discuss the intended use with Voda and request a confirmed option and written terms before ordering.

Will a business address be accepted by a bank?

Acceptance is the bank’s decision. A mailing or virtual address may not meet its requirements for the business’s physical location. Confirm the institution’s policy directly.

Is mail forwarding or scanning included?

No feature is implied here. Confirm the available services, handling times, excluded mail, usage charges and renewal terms in the actual agreement.

What is USPS Form 1583?

It is an authorization used for mail receipt through a commercial mail receiving agency. Applicable identity-verification and authorization requirements should be completed through the service’s proper onboarding process.

Can this replace a registered agent?

Not by itself. Registered agent eligibility, appointment and office requirements are separate. An address service is suitable for that role only when the relevant rules and arrangement permit it.

Will this hide every personal address?

No blanket privacy outcome is promised. Public filings, bank verification and other records have their own information requirements. Review the actual forms and services before relying on an address arrangement.
